Appearance and figure

- Fumed eucalyptus can hold a trace of ammonia. That can fight some contact cements and cause bubbling. Let the sheet air out, wipe the face, and test your adhesive on an offcut first.
- Like most dark browns, fumed sheets are photosensitive and will lighten a little in strong sun. Keep offcuts of one flitch together and finish with a UV-resistant topcoat if the piece lives in a bright room.
